- Sturdy has been in business in the GCC region since 2006 and is the market leader in rotational moulding in the UAE.

Our sister Company Sturdy Products Ltd based in Ireland has been in business 45 years.


We are looking to hire an experienced highly motivated and results-oriented individual to join our team as an
Area Sales Manager to market our products in
Saudi Arabia.

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building, and maintaining strong customer relationships, and achieving revenue targets in the assigned territory, in this exciting growing market.

This is an individual contributor role working within our "Business development" team - reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales activities in the assigned region, which includes identifying and targeting potential customers, understanding market trends, and developing sales strategies to maximize business opportunities to sell our products. This is supported by our emarketing efforts.
  • Act as the primary customer contact, building and maintaining strong relationships with the key decision
- makers and Stakeholders with excellent customer service. In addition to maintain comprehensive account plans for our key accounts.

  • Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve the assigned sales targets. Monitor sales performance, analyze market data, and adjust strategies as needed to ensure consistent growth.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and build the value propositions as well as the R.O.I. to the customers.
  • Prepare offers for small to big projects and negotiate commercial terms and conditions with customers to secure orders and contracts. Also, ensure compliance with company policies during the negotiation process, adhering to strict agreed credit terms.
  • Complete sales call reports following visits to customers.
  • Complete journey plan for self. Produce daily/weekly journey plan.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for the management team. Provide accurate and timely information on sales activities, pipeline, and market trends to facilitate effective decision
- making.

  • This
    role requires frequent travel within the assigned territory to meet customers, attend industry events, and visit project sites. Flexibility and willingness to travel are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or Business. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in sales, preferably working with clients in construction, and hospitality industry in the KSA.
  • Knowledge of industry & the KSA region.
  • Proactive nature with effective communication & presentations skill in English & Arabic
- written and spoken.

  • Experience with the Saudi Market & Culture is preferable.
  • Eagerness to travel, 7080% of time should be spent conducting visits to our customers.
  • Ideal residential location would be in United Arab Emirates.
