SAP Senior Business Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Analyse the new Change Requests (CRs) received from the client to:
  • Understand the change and its impact on the existing processes
  • Evaluate completeness of scope and identify gaps in the requirements
  • Identify feasibility of the requirement and any implementation challenges
  • Document end to end change (CR document) including As Is vs To Be processes and detailed steps/ use cases.
  • Mentor junior BAs in the team and review their quality of deliverables
  • Act as a Trusted client advisor for requirements / demand management
  • Basic understanding of taxation processes from tax authority perspective. (Also must have at least worked as BA in complicated business domains in the past like BFSI)
  • Ensure complete and clear communication with the client and internal teams.
  • Work on multiple CRs in parallel
  • Reporting of work status and plans for self and team
  • Work with multiple client stakeholders (technology/ business teams) and handle changing priorities or requirements through direct discussions/ workshops.
  • Work with internal teams functional, technical and management to handle
  • Understand and execute various processes and subprocesses in the client system so as to support the analysis (may require learning SAP / customised systems)
  • Monitor and Maintain SLAs related to CRs

Business Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to clearly and concisely communicate with others.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Understand business processes for focus area or module.
  • Research and perform detailed tasks.

  • Understand how to solve detailed SAP problems.
  • Understand and can explain best business practices, especially those that SAP enables.
