Job Description

Role Purpose

To be responsible for the analysis, reporting and deep dive on costing and profitability to support the section for increasing transparency and visibility, and to support effective decision-making, collecting Information to provide greater insight through different dimensions, via effective costing activities and providing efficient and supportive profitability analysis and insights to the section head level within the set KPIs and adopted policies and procedures.

Costing & Profitability
  • Support businesses by analyzing cost expenditures and purchases within the organization.
  • Developing and analyzing costs and setting cost drivers for costing elements, collect cost information and maintain an expenses database.
  • Prepare and analyze cost Optimization and saving initiatives.
  • Ensures cost-effective operations for a project or a company's overall business model.
  • Assist the budgeting and planning department in further costing drilldown and investigation during monthly reviews, annual budget exercise, yearend closing and in processing the PRs and POs upon request.
  • Engage the fixed assets section in the classification of CAPEXOPEX items when required by end users.
  • Deep analysis of the ANS pricing and rates calculations along with strategy Team.
  • Analyze and deep drilldown on costing and profitability per location, region andor per service provided (whichever applicable), via effective modeling and business clarity on processes and operational map.
  • Prepare Sensitivity and Scenario Analysis for potential costing and profitability situations (Optimistic, Neutral and Pessimistic)
  • Performing Financial analysis for Loans and deposits, actuarial evaluation, Review cost and Profit classifications.
  • Deep Analysis with Business DevelopmentCommercial teams on the life-cycle projects profitability and annual results.
  • Close coordination and teamwork with Business DevelopmentCommercial projects in terms of revenue, cost and cash, performance in terms of planned start and end dates compared.
  • Build and maintain strong and effective relationship with all other related units to achieve the section's goals/objectives.
  • Prepare / generate the monthly costing & profitability variance reports to be reviewed by the Costing & profitability Supervisor and perform necessary amendment as applicable.
  • Stay abreast of the latest Costing & profitability leading practices.
  • Identify areas for professional self-development, and act to enhance such.
  • Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard commercially sensitive information.
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes considering leading practices, changes in business environment, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience
  • Minimum or no prior experience in financial planning & analysis is required
Education and Certifications
  • A bachelor's degree Business Administration with specialization in Finance or Accounting or equivalent is required.
  • Professional Certification such as CPA/CA and/or CMA is preferable
