Responsibilities
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Analyze, plan, organize, and support Wireline operations to drive higher adoption levels by Weatherford's customers based on expressed needs. Ensure seamless transition from job planning to implementation phase.
- Responsible for overall Wireline technical services, identifying gaps and opportunities for business and operational enhancements.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing support for KSAB operations in job planning, performance, client service reviews, technical support, new technology implementation, critical project oversight, and other essential business activities.
- OPERATIONS:
- Act as a liaison between Aramco, Wireline Management, and R&D/Sustaining Engineering for operations support.
- Offer technical Wireline expertise in the Geozone for new technology.
- Articulate clear value propositions for new technology business cases.
- Assist in delivering commercial proposals with necessary technical support information.
- Ensure adequate resources for proper field testing and new technology launches.
- Identify candidate wells and collaborate with customers to meet field test objectives.
- Support Operations as needed during field tests, including involvement in RTOC and rig site operations.
- Provide technical input into all new product/service-related incidents, following up on corrective actions and assessing their success.
- Monitor and contribute to operational performance statistics/KPIs of new products, providing feedback to Geozone Wireline Manager.
- Offer feedback/supporting materials for Field Engineer and Sales training to Training/Development team.
- Review field test results with customers when necessary.
- Assist Geozone Wireline Manager in developing and executing the business plan for new products in the Geozone.
- Gather customer feedback for product/service improvement.
- Support all product upgrade/development and implementation initiatives.
- Ensure lessons learned from product deliveries are communicated internally and corrective actions are implemented.
- Provide high-level customer support for critical new technology services.
- Create technical papers and case histories to promote new services.
- Responsible for publishing and distributing product improvement content, including tech alerts and updated procedures.
- Support operations in technical troubleshooting and procedural management, including supporting HazId/HazOp and procedural reviews.
- Facilitate and support Field Operations learning and development program.
- Lead Wireline Lean process in collaboration with the GZ Lean team.
- Maintain a Logging Knowledgebase for historical jobs in collaboration with the IES team, providing Best Practices for field operations.
Qualifications
Experience & Education:
REQUIRED:- Bachelor's degree in engineering or scientific discipline or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of oilfield Wireline experience.
PREFERRED:- Experience in strategic planning and execution, knowledge of contracting and change management.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge and operational understanding of Wireline Services and Equipment.
- Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects within deadlines. Offers creative solutions and resourceful problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with scientific/technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills. Prepares clear and concise opinions, reports, and presentations.
- Team player, fast learner, results-oriented, proactive, and independent. Works effectively in a diverse multicultural community.
- Experience in strategic planning and execution, knowledge of contracting and change management.
