Minimum Requirements

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in marketing would be a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to network effectively through social media
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Understanding and respect for community history and dynamics
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills

Roles and Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to:

  • Manage, enhance, and cultivate opportunities with Alumni through various social media platforms
  • Develop and implement programs to boost Alumni engagement
  • Create and execute strategies to increase Alumni participation
  • Supervise Alumni functions and events
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding Alumni community affairs
  • Engage, activate, and organize Alumni groups and events
  • Coordinate and oversee Alumni operations
  • Execute strategic plans set by the Alumni Committee with guidance from the Chairperson and input from the Executive
  • Maintain and update the database of SAHETI Alumni and interest groups
  • Recognize and showcase Alumni achievements within the SAHETI community
  • Build relationships within the SAHETI School community to enhance Alumni engagement
  • Represent the Alumni Association at school events, developing targeted marketing strategies for increased Alumni involvement
  • Encourage Alumni and community groups to support fundraising initiatives
  • Manage sales and administration of the Alumni Association's store and explore opportunities for growth
  • Develop and handle the annual budget and related financial information
  • Prepare progress reports and handle administrative tasks related to Alumni activities
  • Interact with school management regarding Alumni relations
