Provides management information and insights on all dimensions of work area performance to facilitate discussion and decision making, both on a periodic basis and for ad-hoc management requests. Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Core Responsibilities
  1. Develops, applies and maintains quality evaluation, control systems and protocols for materials being processed into partially finished or finished products at major project worksites.
  2. Serves as the primary quality assurance resource to department working for problem identification, resolution, and continuous improvement.
  3. Reviews and approves quality requirements for manufacturing planning, supplier purchase orders, and engineering specifications to ensure contract compliance.
  4. Devises testing plans and methods to assure reliability of product installations.
  5. Inspects parts and supplies delivered at work sites to ensure compliance with product specifications and contractual agreements.
  6. Develops, applies and maintains quality standards for all field operation activities.
  7. Designs and implements methods for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection.
  8. Performs root cause analysis and recommends corrective actions and process reengineering to ensure that operational metrics are maintained as per the globally defined standards for Otis products and services.
  9. Develops and implements quality system, and maintains them through internal audit ensuring compliance with set processes.
  10. Coordinates with client's inspection teams and quality assurance teams within Otis globally to identify best practices and deploy them locally.
  11. Designs and delivers training material on quality standards and activities.
  12. Participates in internal and external quality audits.
  13. Updates safety policies and procedures when required.
Minimum Qualifications, Experience And Skills
  1. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Business Administration or equivalent
  2. Professional Certifications: Relevant certification such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent is preferred
  3. Years of Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in performing engineering operations within the vertical transportation industry
  4. Nature of Experience: At least 2 years in positions of progressively increasing responsibilities
  5. Language Skills: Fluent written and spoken English essential, Arabic preferred
