1. JOB DETAILS:

Position Title: Planner: Grade I

Broad Band: M08: Semi - professional

Talent Pipeline Layer: Manage Self Operational (MS)

2. OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:

The purpose of the role is to provide continuous input and support into maintenance, shutdown, and project planning activities at various sections and to apply the planning processes at an operational level.

3. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Qualification:

  1. High school certificate
  2. Maths and Science preferred
  3. Trade test + 1 Year as Planner (subject to personal performance)

Experience:

4 Years practical experience in planning/scheduling software.

Skills:

  • Acute safety awareness and attitude
  • Extensive experience of shutdowns
  • Sound knowledge of statutory process compliance requirements
  • Managing projects
  • Familiar with materials, services, financial, and other planning related work methods
  • Sound management skills
  • Understanding of production (plant) operations, equipment, and process
  • Understanding and effective application of all planning and related processes and procedures
  • Advanced understanding of planning concepts within the automated application system

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Successful execution of shutdowns and complicated jobs
  • Successful implementation of planning processes
  • Promote and meet expected output on planning deliverables
  • Arrange and participate in plant walks, compile scope of work, and draw up detailed task lists
  • Assist with accurate and quality work order feedback information
  • Evaluate and verify correctness of notification information and take action on deviations
  • Assist and ensure statutory process compliance
  • Planning and control of plant equipment, ensuring process compliance
  • Assist maintenance to compile shutdown scope list
  • Contribute to shutdown program validation
  • Open work order control as per agreed targets
  • Ensure adherence to Ma'aden safety standards
  • Plan, organize, and control work and projects, meeting technical objectives
  • Assist with compiling and updating task lists for strategies and repetitive maintenance work
  • Assist to ensure a reliable and achievable work packed for execution week
  • Monitor and coordinate execution of work activities and note deviations from program
  • Provide information/reports on request to line management
  • Assist with documentation preparation
  • Initiate the maintenance strategy review process
  • Attend and give input in meetings related to one's role within Planning
  • Identify and implement value-adding initiatives
