Requirements:

The Functional Lead - SAP Delivery will oversee the functional implementation of SAP modules within the MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) project. This role requires in-depth knowledge of SAP functionality, integration, and best practices. The individual will serve as the main point of contact between business stakeholders and the technical team, ensuring the successful delivery of the project.

Project Delivery and Leadership:

  • Lead the functional deployment of SAP modules, ensuring alignment with the MRO project's objectives and timelines.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to capture business requirements and convert them into detailed SAP functional specifications.
  • Supervise the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of SAP modules.

Functional Expertise:

  • Provide expertise in SAP modules relevant to MRO processes, including SAP PM (Plant Maintenance), MM (Material Management), PP (Production Planning), and SD (Sales and Distribution).
  • Facilitate the smooth integration of SAP modules with other systems, such as SAP S / 4HANA and third-party applications.

Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor a team of SAP functional consultants and analysts.
  • Allocate tasks, track progress, and ensure high-quality deliverables within the project scope.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all SAP-related activities with customer stakeholders.
  • Conduct workshops, presentations, and end-user training sessions.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

  • Define and enforce quality assurance standards for functional deliverables.
  • Ensure SAP configurations meet industry standards and align with customer-specific requirements.
  • Identify and resolve functional issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to overcome integration challenges.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain thorough documentation on functional designs, configurations, test cases, and training materials.
  • Prepare regular status updates for project management and stakeholders.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • SAP certification in relevant modules is advantageous.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 8-10 years in SAP functional roles, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership position.
  • Proven experience in delivering SAP implementations or upgrades in MRO or similar sectors.
  • Experience with SAP S / 4HANA is highly desirable.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of SAP modules relevant to MRO operations (PM, MM, PP, SD).
  • Strong understanding of SAP integration points and end-to-end business processes.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Additional Requirements:

  • Familiarity with defense-related MRO processes is a significant advantage.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
