Responsibilities

  1. Manage and maintain all ACS database systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
  2. Develop and maintain database architecture, data structures, and stored procedures.
  3. Troubleshoot any database related issues, and proactively propose solutions to prevent future problems.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, business analysts, and project managers to identify and meet database requirements.
  5. Perform regular database backups and disaster recovery procedures.
  6. Continuously improve performance by conducting regular maintenance, monitoring, and tuning of databases.
  7. Mentor and guide junior database developers and administrators.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer information systems or a related field.
  2. Experience: 8 years in DBMS database development and administration.
  3. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2016 database design and development.
  4. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2016 administration level.
  5. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server profiler 2016.
  6. Experience with database engine tuning advisor.
  7. Experience in agile scrum.
  8. Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps.
  9. Experience with GIT source control.
  10. Experience in web applications development programming using .NET / C#.
  11. Must have problem-solving skills.
  12. Must have analytical skills.
  13. Must have communication skills.
  14. Carries out other job related duties as required by the team leader, head of systems and application, information and communications technology department head.
