OUR OPPORTUNITY

The Head of Cards Activation & Partnerships will be responsible for developing and executing strategic partnerships, fostering key alliances, and driving customer activation initiatives. This role will focus on expanding the bank's reach, enhancing customer engagement, and strengthening brand positioning through innovative collaborations with external partners, merchants, fintechs, and corporate entities.

YOU WILL

  1. Develop and manage strategic partnerships to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  2. Identify and negotiate agreements with key external partners, including fintech companies, payment providers, retail brands, and corporate entities.
  3. Leverage partnerships to create joint marketing campaigns, loyalty programs, and customer engagement initiatives.
  4. Maintain strong relationships with partners, ensuring continuous collaboration and alignment with the bank's strategic goals.
  5. Design and implement customer activation programs to increase product adoption and usage.
  6. Develop promotional campaigns and activations that drive brand awareness and enhance the customer experience.
  7. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of activation strategies across digital and physical touchpoints.
  8. Utilize data analytics and customer insights to optimize activation initiatives and improve engagement metrics.
  9. Work closely with the marketing team to align partnership initiatives with overall brand positioning and customer value propositions.
  10. Lead co-branded campaigns, events, and sponsorships to enhance the bank's visibility and customer reach.
  11. Identify innovative ways to leverage digital platforms, social media, and influencer marketing to drive activation efforts.
  12. Develop revenue-generating opportunities through partnerships and activation programs.
  13. Ensure all partnerships contribute to business growth, customer acquisition, and profitability.
  14. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on the success of activation and partnership initiatives.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU NEED

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  2. 8+ years in strategic partnerships, business development, marketing, or related roles within banking, fintech, or retail sectors.
  3. Strong track record of establishing and managing high-impact partnerships.
  4. Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  5. Deep understanding of customer behavior, loyalty programs, and digital banking trends.
  6. Proficiency in data analysis and performance tracking.
  7. Experience working in the Saudi Arabian banking sector or GCC market is a plus.
  8. Proficiency in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
