About the Role:

As the AV Lighting Coordinator, you'll be at the forefront of bringing an immersive and visually stunning experience to life. Working closely with our expert team of designers, engineers, and contractors, you will ensure the flawless integration of AV and lighting systems that will enhance the visitor experience. Your expertise will shape the dynamic atmosphere of the museum, blending cutting-edge technology with exceptional design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Coordination: Collaborate with the design and technical teams to ensure the seamless integration of AV and lighting systems that align with the museum's creative and functional vision.
  • Installation & Commissioning: Oversee the installation of advanced lighting and AV equipment, ensuring high-quality execution that meets the project's requirements.
  • Scheduling & Project Management: Develop and manage schedules for AV and lighting system installations, ensuring timely delivery and strict adherence to project milestones.
  • On-site Support: Provide technical assistance during installation and commissioning phases, troubleshooting and ensuring systems are operational at optimal performance.
  • Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure that all AV and lighting systems meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and quality control throughout the project.
  • Collaboration with Contractors & Suppliers: Coordinate with external vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to procure and install AV and lighting systems on time and within budget.
  • Training & Handover: Coordinate training for museum staff to operate and maintain the AV and lighting systems after the project is completed, ensuring a smooth transition.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Experience: 7+ years in AV and lighting coordination, preferably in museum, exhibition, or large-scale fit-out projects.
  • Expertise: Extensive knowledge of AV and lighting technologies, with hands-on experience in the installation, integration, and maintenance of these systems.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong organizational and scheduling abilities to manage the timely delivery of all AV and lighting components.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring clear communication and smooth project execution.
  • Problem-Solving: Quick-thinking, resourceful, and able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the spot.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to ensuring all lighting and AV systems perform seamlessly and meet project specifications.
  • Qualifications: A degree or certification in AV technology, lighting design, electrical engineering, or a related field is highly preferred.
