About the Role:

Mercer is seeking a Sales Director to drive the commercial growth of our business in Saudi Arabia. This is a high-impact, client-facing role where you will be responsible for expanding Mercer's footprint in the region by selling innovative HR, talent management, and organizational development solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong network in the Saudi market, with established relationships in both the government and private sectors. You will play a key role in building the sales pipeline, consulting with senior leaders, and positioning Mercer's assessment and development solutions. This is a commercial role focused on business development and revenue generation, requiring a deep understanding of client needs and the ability to position Mercer's solutions effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the business development efforts in KSA, expanding Mercer's reach in the market.
  2. Develop and maintain high-level client relationships, particularly within the government and private sectors.
  3. Sell and consult on complex human capital solutions, including talent assessments (behavioral, cognitive, 360 assessments, etc.) and leadership development solutions.
  4. Build and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth.
  5. Work closely with internal consulting and commercial teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  6. Prepare and deliver high-impact sales presentations to senior leaders and decision-makers.
  7. Utilize PowerPoint and Excel effectively for sales proposals and reporting.
  8. Stay up to date with market trends, competitor offerings, and client needs to position Mercer as a leader in the industry.

Who We're Looking For:

  1. Based in Saudi Arabia (Saudi nationals and expats with strong local market experience are welcome to apply).
  2. Fluent in Arabic and English (preferred).
  3. Strong commercial experience, with a track record of successfully selling HR, talent, or assessment-related solutions.
  4. Deep understanding of the Saudi market, with an established network of senior leaders in the government and private sectors.
  5. Experience in selling psychometric and talent assessment solutions is an advantage.
  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior executives.
  7. Comfortable using PowerPoint and Excel to create compelling sales proposals.
  8. Results-driven, with the ability to manage a sales pipeline and achieve business growth targets.
