About this opportunity

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for six Operators to join our plant in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The Crown Jeddah plant produces aluminum beverage cans. This position reports directly to the Shift Supervisor.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Ensure that the machinery in your area is running to their maximum efficiency and minimum spoilage
  2. Maintain the quality standard of products on all machines
  3. Maintain a good standard of machine and plant housekeeping
  4. Maintain all safe working practices
  5. As a team, take responsibility for the adequate running of the production line
  6. Make suggestions for improvement and work closely with your management to continuously improve safety, output, and quality
  7. Communicate to the supervisors daily to discuss any potential problems and/or areas of improvement
  8. Follow and maintain all Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) instructions and procedures to keep a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues

Required Skills and Experience

  1. Experience in a Technical, Mechanical, or Production role
  2. Up to 2 years' experience in a similar position in a high-speed production environment
  3. An enthusiastic, flexible, and hardworking team player
  4. Able to show commitment to quality and the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes
  5. Committed to safe working practices
  6. Able to work flexibly, on a shift pattern, in any working area
  7. Conversational level English
  8. Experience in beverage can-making would be an advantage
