The Event Producer role will provide customer-centric event production services and overall event support at the highest level possible for our Client, through a mastery of systems and service. Successful team members will have strong organizational skills, ability to work across multiple teams and cultures, demonstrate impeccable customer service, and be energetically driven to meet the needs of our customers and team.
The Event Producer will also take on management of booking requests, as well as the resolution of complex space logistics challenges with our largest and most impactful events.
This role is based in our Singapore office and will focus on our new Event Venue as well as On/Off campus event service for our South East Asia customers.

Key Job Responsibilities

1. Prompt, thorough, professional communication with all team members, Client, and business partners.
2. Direct the crew on events, calling camera shots, audio and lighting cues.
3. Proactively engage with Team and Client to pursue process improvements.
4. Search out opportunities to help others improve skillsets and knowledge base.
5. Fostering strong customer and team relationships.

Pre-event Responsibilities

1. Assisting customers with planning meetings and walk-throughs.
2. Coordinating with various teams on resource availability and flexibility.
3. Event script preparation and distribution.
4. Provide estimates of AV vendor labor costs to be incurred.
5. Technical resource scheduling for equipment and labor.
6. Coordinating thorough testing of equipment use cases ahead of events.
7. Navigate and support media playback and presentation methods.
8. Clearly communicate with all team members and stakeholders.

Event Execution Responsibilities

1. Coordination of technical services for assigned events, including audio-visual equipment, and relevant facility operations.
2. Coordination of contractor partners.
3. Optimizing audio, video, lighting and staging for the best quality attainable.
4. Direction of the technical team (calling the show as needed).
5. Dynamically flex to customer needs and adapt to complications.

Post-event Responsibilities

1. Oversee proper strike of event venue(s).
2. Gather event data and customer feedback and report it through proper channels.

About the Team

The Event Productions (EP) team supports Amazon internal events, including, but not limited to, Town Halls, Fire-Side Chats, Rewards and Recognitions, Funtivities. The EP team offers global support of our Large Production Venues, Studios, Livestreaming, On/Off campus events and Executives Briefing support. In 2024, The EP team will have handled 8500+ events globally, supporting 300,000+ on-site attendees and 1,500,000+ livestream viewers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. Minimum a Diploma in Events Management, Media, Post-Production or relevant industry.
2. Strong understanding of event AV and live event production planning.
3. Proficiency with audio, video, lighting and staging systems.
4. Able to coordinate event production teams upwards of 20 persons.
5. Focused, organized and effective in stressful environments.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
7. Can effectively engage at every level of the organization, across several departments.
8. Able to replicate competencies and raise up team members.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. 2 - 4 year degree in A/V, event planning, or marketing.
2. CSEP, CMP or comparable certification.
3. 5 years of event or broadcast production experience.
4. MS Office suite.
