The Key Account Manager has the mission to drive GS Arabia sales in the top customers to the maximum level in the most profitable and efficient way in line with company commercial policy and route to market strategy.

MAIN PURPOSES OF THE JOB:

  1. Develop a long-term trust relationship with a portfolio of clients:
    • By developing value creation on both sides.
    • By piloting the maximum profitable growth of commercial activities.
    • By convincing the customer to select SEB as Category Captain in key categories and collaborate with our Trade Marketing team.
  2. Expand the relationships with existing and potential customers in a win-win collaboration:
    • Acquire a deep understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
    • Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
    • Resolve any issues faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
    • Follow up on financial topics, and manage risks (Payment/ Insurance …).
  3. Optimize our Revenues & Profit:
    • Successfully negotiate Annual Trade Terms contract – BDA.
    • Create a Yearly Key Account Plan by category.
    • Build a Joint Business Plan with the customers including Online and Offline activities.
    • Maintain a good balance between the regular and promotional business.
    • Optimize the costs and return on investments (head of gondola, leaflets, demo, POS material, etc...).
    • Implement product launches and all marketing-related activities introduced by the Marketing team.
  4. Develop our Market Share for both SDA & Cookware categories:
    • Increase and control quantitative and qualitative assortments.
    • Organize training product sessions with the appropriate service to deliver the best sell-out.
  5. Strongly involved in forecast process within the forecast team:
    • Lead on the assigned accounts' forecast planning cycle with the demand team.
    • Ensure enough stock is planned for promotion offers.
    • Contribute to specific product forecast.

MAIN SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • University degree in Sales or Business Administration.
  • 6 to 10 years of experience in sales / KA management in Consumer Goods/FMCG / Consumer Durables within multinational organizations.
  • Good knowledge of KSA market and trade.
  • Result driven.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in English and Arabic.
  • Self-initiatives and highly independent to perform his activities.
  • Ability to solve problems.
  • Strong data analytical skills with the ability to shape insights into action.
  • Relationship / rapport building capabilities – internal and external.
  • Team player with collaborative nature.
