Job Purpose:
Responsible for planning and managing projects to ensure timely completion within budget. This includes defining project scope, allocating resources, preparing budgets, tracking progress, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Having experience in Project Management, from conception to delivery.
  • Inputs for WBS along with project plans including Resource and Material, usage of SNOW, MS Projects.
  • Attend client meetings in determination of project requirements.
  • Assist the Management in the drafting and issuance of project proposals, RFP's, tenders, budgets, cash flows and preliminary schedules.
  • Prepare project organization and communication charts.
  • Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team.
  • Ability to use project scheduling and control tools to monitor projects plans, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Keep the Management and others informed about project status and issues that may impact client relations.
  • Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and for developing this attitude in others.
  • An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules in Microsoft Project, and step-by-step action plans.
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
  • Ensure clients' needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control.
  • Experience in customer relationship management.
  • Complete understanding, following and controlling of all HSE aspects.
  • Responsible for managing overall Project.
  • Implement and monitor reporting methods for own resources and subcontractors.
  • Provide effective problem resolutions to facilitate faster project deliveries and improved working relationships between the contractors and field teams.
  • Negotiate and mediate subcontractor problems or complaints that arise at site level.
  • Ensure consistent and continuous compliance by all employees and contractors with safety requirements, as well as specifications and standards of client.
  • Tracks, reports, and communicates project progress including resolving and providing solutions to any project roadblocks.
  • Ensure proper use of capital expenditures by ensuring adherence to client's specifications/standards and ensuring compliance with installation contractors.
  • Prepare reports and presentations describing activity, project status and presentations for company and client management meetings.
  • Participates in the meetings with the client for progress reviews and effectively support the overall project effort.
  • Ensure that correct procedures are implemented for the execution of any field work and documentation.
  • Reviews and Follow-ups contractual objectives' implementation and compliance of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) in the project and recommends improvement measures.
  • Report and analyse major deficiencies and failures and proposes/recommends improvements.
  • Creating detailed timelines for Projects together with customers.
  • Enhancing the quality of leadership staff by applying all necessary actions, e.g. training, auditing, disciplinary actions.
  • Set project scopes and targets.
  • Working in close cooperation with Director, Control Manager, Financial Analyst, Project Managers and Leadership staff in the projects.
  • Proactively take responsibility for self-improvement by staying well informed of developments, knowledge, and innovation in relevant field of expertise.
  • Responsible for implementation of company's Health and Safety Management System, which includes full compliance with HSE policy, Objectives, Processes and Procedures, and regular monitoring and reporting requirements.

Important Requirements and Knowledge: Specific knowledge in managing Telecom network design projects.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Engineering in the related work domain or work-related experience.
  • 10 years of experience.

Professional Certificates: PMP or relevant certifications are preferred.

Job Specific Skills/Competencies:

  • Must be based in the Jeddah area and have experience working there.
  • Knowledge in time management and goal setting, & flexibility to take on new challenges.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment.
  • Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
  • Ability to organize workload and to manage filing methods and management techniques.
  • Team-building abilities and management skills.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Experienced in Implementation/Maintenance network principles and planning techniques to include the development of planning studies, and related reports.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submittal of all project-related documents for completion for monthly invoicing of the completed works.
  • Knowledge in using MS Project and the MS Office Suite of products.
  • Effective communication skills include verbal, written and presentation skills.
