Job Summary

A Manager Consulting Manager leads major client engagements, demonstrating elevated strategic thinking and leadership. This role demands a deep engagement with client leadership to align on strategic objectives and craft advanced, customized solutions that address complex challenges. The Manager - Senior Manager oversees the integration of project efforts, ensuring that high-level project goals are met and that outcomes align with client expectations. They are also tasked with mentoring managers and developing internal capabilities while managing larger budgets and more significant project risks. Their advanced expertise in industry trends and problem-solving drives project success and the firm's strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Multi-Disciplinary Teams: Lead multi-disciplinary teams across different geographies for complex projects.
  • Develop Client Solutions: Analyze client needs, develop actionable recommendations, and design strategies for business improvement.
  • Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, manage expenses, and ensure projects are delivered within financial targets.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on project performance, addressing any challenges and ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to Business Development: Identify new business opportunities or expand existing engagements. Support proposal writing and pitch development to win new consulting engagements.
  • Contribute to the Firm's Strategy: Act as a thought leader in key strategic areas, contributing to the firm's reputation.
  • Establish Partnerships: Establish and manage partnerships with third-party vendors or specialists.
  • Contribute to Internal Initiatives: Contribute to internal initiatives ensuring firm development and process optimization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree: Typically required in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or related fields.
  • Master's Degree: MBA or master's in management, Strategy, or related field, often preferred for deeper business insights.
  • Professional Certifications: Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), or industry-specific credentials can be beneficial.
  • 9-12 Years of Experience: Proven experience in management consulting or related fields (such as financial services, telecommunications, or technology), with a track record of successfully leading strategic projects and client engagements.
  • Leadership Experience: At least 5 years of experience in leading and mentoring teams, managing performance, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
