DESCRIPTION

We're expanding our Learning team within Amazon Operations If you're interested in joining a business where you can achieve amazing results and put smiles on people's faces, this could be the role for you.
The Last Mile Learning Associate works with Operations Managers, Area Managers, and associates. Constantly improves the long-term capabilities of the area to which he/she is assigned.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be comfortable talking in front of a group as well as one-on-one with an individual, and be able to give and receive feedback effectively. They must have the ability to follow up and meet time commitments and deadlines, be goal-oriented, and provide insight to area managers. The candidate should work hard for the success of others, constantly remain "customer obsessed," demonstrate a positive "can do" demeanor, and gain energy from working with others. They will measure associate performance around Safety, Quality, and Productivity and apply learning tools to improve operation metrics. The Learning Associate will improve associates' job-related skills, develop, maintain, and apply learning tools (methods, checklists, and skill-building agreements) to encourage associate development, and assist in driving the success of peak and non-peak training plans.

The Learning Associate will achieve this objective by:

  1. Executing all standard trainer tasks as outlined on Trainer Standard Work Checklist
  2. Delivering network standard training
  3. Partnering with Operations Leaders to evaluate and improve training processes within work areas
  4. Directly coaching associates to improve job performance
  5. Managing training compliance to ensure accurate training records are housed correctly
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor Degree graduate – BA/Bcom/BE/Btech or equivalent
Proficiency in computer usage, email, MS Office Suite
Organization skills – able to handle multiple and changing projects/priorities
Ability to prioritize, manage, and complete projects with tight deadlines
Willingness to work in different areas as required by training needs
Arabic speaker with professional English level availability to work in different shifts.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Prior training, teaching, or presentation experience
Previous experience as a trainer
Willingness to work different shifts
Shift hours for this position may be different from the standard production shifts
Willingness to work in different areas as required by training needs
Excellent attendance
Candidates must be very organized and able to handle multiple and changing projects/priorities
Willingness to participate in and support the Operational Excellence initiatives
Ability to converse or translate English content into Arabic
