**Senior Paint Operator**

**Job Summary**:
Overall responsibility for properly handling the paintinge unit, ensuring that paint process, priming and painting processes are performed in accordance with the requirements and are carried out in a safe manner in accordance with production, quality and achieve global objectives set up by Operation Manager and Company.

**Responsibilities**:

- Leads and manages the Paint process in accordance with delivery scheduling, priority requirements defined and established requirements utilizing proper skills, material and workflow to assure timely and quality production throughputs.
- Establishes objectives and ensure their proper tracking set for his subordinates and performs their appraisals.
- Is responsible for maintaining the jigs and fixtures related to the paint area and support the jigs and fixtures design as required.
- Ensures the proper: load optimization of the paint area for operating cost savings, data records and traceability, functioning of the paint equipment and proper use of required safety devices, personal protective equipment.
- Handles the waste management stream related to the paint area,
- Ensures and maintains the shelf life of products (hardener, base and thinner.) stored in the storage and mixing room,
- Informs as required; the maintenance team of any malfunction affecting the proper operating of the paint area in preventing any production delays.
- Informs as required the QC Department of any non conformances and issues related to paint process and EHS issues to prevent product and EHS impacts
- Trains and maintains the skills/qualifications of the personnel as per their job description and know how required for their position (authority and qualification matrix).
- Supports company projects not limited to process surveillance, new process set up and qualification, testing as required by the involved stakeholders.
- Defines the process control instructions (Work Instruction) for any introduction of new parts or family of parts.
- Anticipates and overcomes production related problems, material shortages (primer, paint, jigs, fixtures, consumables, etc.) and unavoidable delays where possible and plan to reduce their impact on the operation.
- Administers the company policies, procedures, work instructions, work rules and disciplinary action as defined.
- Participates in certification/accreditation audits and plans corrective actions in response of non-conformities related to the Paint area.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Operation Manager and BU.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 3 year’s experience in painting operations in aerospace, defense industries (priming, topcoat, clear coat processes)
- High School Diploma

**Experience**:

- Strong Knowledge of painting process on metallic materials involving water and solvent base paint.
- Knowledge related to design of jigs and fixtures.
- Awareness of international standards in environment, health and safety.
- Relevant problem solving, decision making, planning.
- Customer focus and orientation skills.
- Relevant computer skills, proficiency in MS Office software.
- Relevant experience with equipment with PLC and HMI systems

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ﷼4,000.00 - ﷼6,000.00 per month
