JOB TITLE

Legal and Collection Officer

We are looking for a Saudi National Collection and legal officer. Responsibilities is to follow up for the payment to be collected one time and follow up to collect the payment for the bounced cheque, to follow up on daily basis with the sales team and the drivers regarding the collection and follow up with the lawyer in the legal cases.

Collection Target:
Collect payments on past due bills.

Create a list of clients who have not made payments.

Call customers using telephone.

Achieve the agreed DSO Target of 110 Days

Collect minimum of 10k amount from the bad debt monthly

Legal Issues:
Managing the legal portfolio (Criminal Cases) and ensure 75% of the filed cases are resolved

Managing the legal portfolio (Criminal Cases) and ensure max. number of cases are resolved.

Following up with lawyer & collection agency and provide all the supportive documents

Resolution of bounced cheques:
Keep track of bounced cheques and ensure 95% are collected

Follow UAE laws dealing with debt collection.

Dealing with customer queries and resolving any issue that might arise

Working towards achieving the maximum amount from the bad debt

Aging Report Accuracy:
Review monthly aging reports and escalate errors to AR for allocation

Coordinate with the Accounts Dep. to ensure RV's are allocated properly

Preparing & reviewing aging reports monthly\

Prepare the collection target for the sales team and follow up on achieving it

Educational requirements to qualify for this position, including: Specific Degrees, Technical Training, Post-High School Course Work, Field of Study, etc.
