**Sr. Manager - Channel (Modern Trade & Retail)**

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Title**: Sr.Manager Channel - Modern trade and retail

**Location**: Riyadh, KSA

**Experience** : 7-12 years of experience in relevant field, sales experience in meat sales to modern trade and other sales channels.

**Job Summary**: To drive competitive channel growth to meet the business strategy. Leader and developer of Sales teams in achieving individual and company goals. Monthly Business Planning Cycle preparation in alignment SC and Sales Budget. Implement the sales budget for Retail & Modern Trade and General Trade Channels (Fresh Meat).

**Roles & Responsibilities**:
**a. Strategic Contribution**
- Direct the implementation of the annual business plan and targets and implement the strategic agenda of the Sales & Distribution/Channel Development to deliver the company's vision and mission.
- Ensure that the strategy is translated into operational business plans for the Sales & Distribution/Channel Development and monitor the performance.

**Budgeting**

Lead the preparation of the department budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.

**c**.
**Accountabilty**
- Prepare Sales plan by customer / by region to invest in the region or channel as needed.
- Develop and implement good negotiation tactics to have joint business plan with top customers.
- Drive contractual performance for better product mix.
- Ensure monthly and quarterly business reviews with top customers to drive synergy with business partners.
- Develop short/long term channel strategy plans to ensure high quality execution and ensure channel growth profitability.
- Ensure customer payments on time to ensure days of outstanding as per company credit policy.
- Secure monthly P&L (Profit and loss) for all top customer to ensure foresight on profitability by region, by customer and by channel.
- Collaborate with Category team to drive customer calendar and the company's calendar synergy.

**Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures**
- Manage the development and implementation of the Sales & Distribution/Channel Development_ _policies, systems, processes and procedures, identifying potential areas of improvement, to ensure efficient and effective operation.
- Ensure compliance with corporate requirements on adherence to policies, procedures and instructions related to all relevant regulatory directives to ensure a safe and risk-free environment.

**Change Management**
- Motivate the employees and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account global best practices.
- Ensure that all departmental reports and statements are completed timely and comply with local and international principles of governance and the organization’s policies and standards.

**Experience, Qualification & Skills**:
**Experience**:
***7-12 years of experience in relevant field, sales experience in meat sales to modern trade and other sales channels. Identifiable and active client base.

**Qualification**:Bachelor's degree.

**Skills**:Analytical, negotiation skills and sales management skills.
