**Job description** Purpose**

Responsible for continuous safe, effective and efficient operation of IKEA KSA & Bahrain assets and facilities nationwide.

**Accountabilities**
- Overall responsibility for all Stores/OCP HSSE operations.
- Work closely together with the Facility Manager to ensure the maintenance requirements that can be fulfilled by the stores are completed in an accurate and timely manner and ensure that Store HSSE projects are fit for purpose and implemented successfully.
- Contribute to the development of IKEA KSA & BAHRAIN HSSE strategy and participate in the overall leadership of the company by actively contributing as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
- Develop, implement and review the company’s policies and procedures for Operations, Health, Safety, Security & Environment, including appropriate training and audit programmes.
- Provide leadership and support to the Store HSSE Teams and the store co-workers ensuring that they are fully competent to carry out their duties. This will include assessment of training needs, performance reviews and appraisals, coaching and mentoring.
- Carry out internal & external theft & fraud investigations.
- Prepare and manage annual capital and operational budgets for HSSE Department as required by the Finance Department. Through effective and flexible management ensure that departmental budgets are met.
- Design, Implement & plan all Physical Security System in upcoming IKEA expansion projects and existing stores.
- Maintain up to date knowledge in this area of expertise and continue to develop leadership and management skills through approved training.
- Build and enhance existing relationships with all stakeholders, as well as seeking to identify and pursue new external professional relationships as appropriate and living IKEA Values all the time.

**Qualification**
- Bachelors/Master’s Degree
- NEBOSH Certified
- NEBOSH CERTFIED IGC, LEAD AUDITOR ISO 45001:2018, First AID Certified.

**_ Experience_**
- Five years’ experience in staff management on a HSSE Leader/Manager
- Mastery experience in hazard identification and permit systems
- Expert understanding of Health and Safety systems, procedures and legislation specific to the Retail Sector
- Retail Management Experience is highly preferable
