Senior Legal Counsel, you will have a crucial role in supervising and handling legal affairs for data centers globally. This will involve offering strategic legal guidance and assistance for the

organization's data center activities, ensuring compliance to applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards in various regions, managing legal risk and structuring and negotiating contracts.

This senior-level position requires excellent legal knowledge, strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

**You must be located in Riyadh.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Legal Advisory**:Provide expert legal advice and guidance to the company on a broad range of

legal matters related to data center operations, including but not limited to contracts, compliance,

intellectual property, privacy, data protection, and regulatory issue** s**
- **Contract Drafting and Negotiation**:Review, draft, and negotiate various contracts and

agreements, including customer contracts, service level agreements, vendor contracts, and

partnership agreements, ensuring the company's interests are protected and legal risks are

minimized
- ** Compliance Management**:Stay up to date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry

standards affecting the data center industry, monitor compliance with legal requirements, and

develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure adherence
- ** Risk Management**:Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate and manage

them effectively. Provide proactive advice and guidance to the business to prevent legal issues

and disputes
- ** Dispute Resolution**:Manage and resolve legal disputes, including contract disputes, through

negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or litigation as necessary. Collaborate with external legal

counsel when required
- ** Legal Documentation**:Prepare and maintain legal documentation, records, and reports, including

legal opinions, memoranda, and corporate governance documents
- ** Corporate Governance**:Advise on corporate governance matters, ensuring compliance with

company policies, bylaws, and applicable laws and regulations
- ** Collaboration and Training**:Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executives,

management teams, and other departments, to provide legal guidance and training on legal

matters and best practices
- External Engagement: Liaise and collaborate with external legal counsel, regulators, government

agencies, industry associations, and other relevant parties to represent the company's interests

and stay informed of legal developments
- ** Team Management**:With time, oversee a team of legal professionals, providing guidance,

mentorship, and support to foster their professional growth and enhance the department's effectiveness

**REQUIREMENTS**
- **Education**: Master degree in law.
- ** Experience**:Minimum of 15 years of experience in a legal role in a corporate organization or a

law firm with a focus on contract drafting and negotiation and corporate legal matters, with at

least 3 years of thorough experience in data center related matters, including drafting and active

negotiations of service level agreements and similar agreements with large enterprises and

hyperscalers.
- Strong Legal Knowledge: In-depth understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry

standards, such as data protection, privacy, intellectual property, contract law, and corporate

governance.
- Contract Management: Proven experience in negotiating and drafting complex commercial

contracts and agreements. Ability to identify and address potential legal risks in contracts.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think

strategically and provide practical legal advice in a business context.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to

communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders effectively.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with cross-functional

teams and external partners, fostering a cooperative and solutions-oriented work environment.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to manage

multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Integrity and Ethics: High ethical standards and integrity, with the ability to handle confidential

information with discretion and professionalism.
- Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability to navigate and thrive in a dynamic and evolving

business environment.
