**Requisitos**:
**What kind of profile/skills does this job require?**

In order to participate in the recruiting process, you must:

- Have a Degree as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), or its equivalent Post graduate degree, or its equivalent in Veterinary dentistry;
- Have experience in clinical and surgical practice involving dogs and cats;
- Have experience in examining and treating veterinary dental conditions including various periodontal diseases and performing oral surgery such as dental cleaning, extraction, and filling;
- Have expertise in examination and diagnosing diseases involving the oral cavity and their treatment;
- Have practical knowledge in performing all types of surgical procedures involving the mouth and its associated structures;
- Have knowledge in operating medical equipment and perform general and specialized dental surgeries, lab work, X-Ray, and ECG;
- Be fluent in English.

**ATIVIDADES**:
**What is the challenge?**

We are looking for veterinary surgeons who are passionate about working with animals and want to help them to live healthier and happier lives, treating animals with kindness and respect. Your day-to-day as a Vet includes:

- To examine the general health status of the patient (dogs, cats, and exotic pets);
- To diagnose the pets’ condition and established the best course of treatment;
- To monitor the patients progress and give appropriate treatment;
- To perform surgical procedures from simple wound cleaning to the most complex one;
- To update clients on pets’ progress and update medical records;
- Supervise veterinary nurses;
- Report on cases/treatments on weekly basis (Medical team weekly meeting);
- Support Medical director on the development of monthly medical team progress report (All staff monthly meeting);
- Attend to trainings if requested/required and transfer knowledge to team members;
- Follow public health and hygiene laws;
- Be responsible of on call emergency line as per the rotational schedule among medical team.
