**Principal Objective: A brief summary of the responsibilities of the position**

The Survey Team Supervisor will provide surveying supervision support to Urban Planning Department at JCPDI to ensure effective operations for the UPD. Create surveying studies using the specific software.

**Major Activities Performed: List the major job function(s) of the position.**
- Provide supervision for the interpretation of approved plans.
- Supervision for the execution of crew in work involving concrete and steel structure.
- Responsible for the coordination with the consultant sub constructors for request purposes.
- Supervision for the initiating of quality control procedure to ensure that all designed mixes and other material incorporated in the project shall meet required specifications.
- Responsible for the alignment of pipelines curve stones, location of manholes, all disturbed curve stones shall reconstruct as per drawing as per site condition.
- Responsible for the checking of benchmarks, sewer pipe elevations, manholes level existing house connection.
- Responsible for the calibration of the level instrument.
- Responsible for the checking of elevation and location of utilities. Such as telephone cable, high and low-voltage electric cables. Chemical pipeline, water pipes, etc.
- Assist construction engineers in the interpretation of approved plans.
- Join survey checking with the Consultant for the request purpose.
- Checking of all grade elevations shown in the plan profile vertical and horizontal curve elements PVI Elevation, Roadway, Cross-Sections, Detailing Dimensions, etc.
- Checking of all benchmarks and other references all lost disturbed benchmarks shall be re-establish.
- Responsible for the computation of Earthwork quantities.
- Closely monitor work and recommend timely field revision as the need arises.
- Assist Section Engineer as the need arises.

**Experience and Qualifications: List the background experience required for the position, number of years experience, in what fields. Describe the desirable academic background.**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Civil, Construction Management or related field from a recognized Western University with 12 years of surveying-related experience.
- Experience in other graphics or design programs is a plus.
