**Major Role**:
As a testing and commissioning manager for theme parks, your primary responsibility would be to oversee and manage the testing and commissioning process for all the rides, attractions, and facilities in the park.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive testing and commissioning plan for the theme park. This would involve working with the design and construction teams to ensure that all systems and components are tested thoroughly and meet safety and operational standards.
- Manage a team of technicians, engineers, and contractors responsible for conducting the tests and commissioning activities. You would need to ensure that they are properly trained, equipped, and working efficiently to complete the work on time.
- Coordinate with ride manufacturers, equipment vendors, and other third-party contractors to ensure that all components are delivered and installed according to the schedule and specifications.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety hazards and develop appropriate mitigation measures.
- Ensure that all testing and commissioning activities are conducted in compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
- Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to ensure that all systems and components are properly maintained and inspected throughout the life of the park.
- Develop and maintain accurate records and documentation related to the testing and commissioning process.
- Provide regular progress reports and updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Overall, as a testing and commissioning manager for theme parks, you would play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the park's rides and attractions, as well as the overall guest experience.

**Experience**:

- Relevant work experience in testing and commissioning of theme parks is essential for this role.
- You may need to have at least 5-10 years of experience in a related field, including experience managing large-scale testing and commissioning projects.
- Some of the essential skills required for a Testing and Commissioning Manager for theme parks include project management, communication, problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail. You should also have a good understanding of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, as well as the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

**Education**:A Full-time bachelor's degree or above in engineering or a related field is typically required for this role.

**Certifications**:NEBB Certified Commissioning Professional qualifications such as CxCP or TAB CP will be beneficial for the role.
