We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PMIS Manager to oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our Project Management Information System. The PMIS Manager will play a critical role in streamlining project management processes, enhancing collaboration, and maximizing the efficiency of our project teams.
**Your new role, what's involved?** Responsibilities**:
- Lead the implementation of the Project Management Information System (PMIS) within the organization, including software selection, configuration, and user training.
- Customize and configure the PMIS to align with the organization's specific needs and workflows.
- Provide ongoing support and training to project managers and team members on how to effectively use the PMIS.
- Manage the accuracy and integrity of data within the PMIS, including data entry procedures and validation checks.
- Oversee system maintenance, including software updates, patches, and enhancements.
- Ensure seamless integration of the PMIS with other software systems used within the organization, such as accounting software and CRM systems.
- Monitor the performance of the PMIS and analyze key metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Generate reports and dashboards to provide stakeholders with insights into project performance and resource utilization.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the PMIS, including data security breaches and system failures.
**We'd love to hear from you if you have**:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience managing Project Management Information Systems in a corporate setting.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency with project management software and systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and support users at all levels of the organization.
- Solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
