_**Purpose**_**:
The Environmental coordinator will organize, oversee and undertake a wide range of field data to support various projects undertaken by LGES. The Environmental coordinator will be based in LGES head office.
- **Duties**_**:
As an Environmental coordinator, you'll be required to:
1. carry out environmental impact assessments analyse and interpret data, using specialist software programs.
2. Work on habitat management and creation.
3. Write reports and issue recommendations liaise with, and advise, site managers, engineers, planners and others associated with a survey.
4. Build relationships with stakeholders, including members of the public.
5.Keep up to date with new environmental policies and legislation.
6.Developing, implementing and managing projects relating to the terrestrial environment.
7. Coordinating and tracking of assignments, scopes, schedules budgets and deliverables.
- **Qualifications**_**:

- botany/plant science

- environmental biology

- **Skills**_**:

- Must possess good communication skills (verbal and written), well developed planning and organizational skills, and an advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite software packages;competence in understanding and using statistics and other ecological data.
- The ability to use computer software for recording, analyzing and presenting data and reports.
- Excellent written communication, research and presentation skills.
- Experience of report writing.
- Confidence in using survey techniques and identification keys.
- Team-working and project-management skills.
- Self-motivation, energy and drive.
