**Position Summary**

To lead the academic programs lifecycle, foster an exceptional academic and non-academic experience to students by maximizing their academic success through developing impactful strategic initiatives, designing events and informational services, and providing opportunities for students to engage more fully in the campus community through student involvement activities. Lead admissions, registration, and student services to ensure a seamless student experience. Effectively oversee and improve the monitoring of student academic progress using the Student Information System (SIS), ensuring precise grade entry, timely resolution of student issues, and maintaining comprehensive academic records.

Oversee the proper development and implementation of competitive academic programs and services in line with KAPSARC School’s strategic direction and best practices.

**Major Accountabilities**

**Strategy and Planning**
- Design and manage strategic academic calendars and dynamic weekly schedules for the school departments, optimizing course coordination and simplifying faculty workload distribution to enhance overall operational efficiency and academic delivery.
- Develop department performance indicators, drive the achievement of targets and continuously monitor progress toward the realization of objectives.
- Prepare and present regular reports on department progress and outputs to relevant stakeholders in line with reporting requirements.

**Quality Assurance and Accreditation**
- Monitor the development of the program accreditation management framework to ensure alignment with accreditation standards and KAPSARC’s School’s project requirements.
- Initiate and follow up on periodic**student assessments and inspections to ensure KAPSARC’s School’s compliance with all accreditation requirements, assess program satisfaction and effectiveness, and maintain the proper retention of data and infrastructure.
- Develop and review dashboards highlighting quality monitoring findings, identify areas for improvement, and track the implementation of corrective actions, such as curriculum enhancements, instructional strategies, and student support services.
- Ensure proper detailing, documentation, and archiving improvement initiatives to support future accreditation processes and demonstrate commitment to quality enhancement.

**Admission and Registration**
- Identify target groups in consultation with academic and student affairs departments and programs for student recruitment and conduct visits to relevant off-campus groups.
- Monitor the development of academic calendars and comprehensive schedules, highlighting program start dates, add-drop periods, registration deadlines, and late submissions, ensuring proper communication of these schedules to stakeholders.
- Ensure proper communication of acceptance decisions with applicants promptly, following standardized templates.
- Oversee the student management system to keep students informed about academic calendars, exam schedules, etc.
- Lead admissions, registration, admission deferral, course withdrawals/drops/adds, termination of study, and other requests.
- Coordinate with the IT function to provide ongoing access to the student information system for students and alumni, allowing them to access personal and academic information and conduct various online registration activities.

**Student Services**
- Lead the development and implementation of information sessions, receptions, and orientation programs to familiarize students with KSPP’s programs, culture, policies, resources, and academic expectations, fostering a smooth integration into the educational environment.
- Develop and manage the class and examination schedules to prevent time conflicts and ensure proper communication of course details and class allocations with stakeholders.
- Oversee examination management, including proctoring, assigning resources, handling student excuses for missed exams or late submissions, grade appeals, and make-up exams.
- Handle student complaints and grievances, ensuring timely resolution in line with policies and procedures, and escalate complex issues to relevant committees as needed.
- Manage student relationships and requests.
- Establish and manage the internship program and alumni function.
- Manage academic administration requirements in coordination with relevant internal stakeholders, including computer accounts, student IDs, graduation ceremonies, etc.

**Admissions and Registration Management**
- Collaborate with other schools and/or departments to ensure a coordinated approach to student recruitment and retention activities
- Coordinate and manage the admission committee, ensuring the process aligns with policies and best academic standards.
- Review pre-set scholarship criteria by funding entities, Standing Committee, and College Council to ensure equal opportunity for students and fair allocation of funds.
