**General Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead the development and execution of the function’s annual plan, budget, objectives and initiatives in line with the company's strategic objectives and set KPIs.
- Manage the function’s operations and activities within budget and identify strategies that result in a positive financial impact.
- Oversee the development of the talent management framework and policies in line with the company's best interest.
- Manage the identification and update of employee performance management system and tools to meet company goals.
- Monitor the implementation of employee performance management systems and tools to detect shortcomings and suggest improvements.
- Oversee the development of performance management objectives and documentation in line with annual business plans.
- Manage the development of employees' individual KPIs and targets and monitor progress and development towards strategic objectives.
- Enhance performance management systems and tools to ensure the alignment of individual employee objectives with business objectives and optimize employee performance.
- Lead the implementation of performance management cycle and agenda in line with pre-defined plans, systems and tools.
- Ensure timely roll-out of performance management cycle phases: objective setting, mid-year review, and year-end appraisal.
- Manage coordination with the company's functions to facilitate the implementation of reviews and appraisals.
- Monitor the consolidation of employee self-review appraisals and ensure training is provided to assist managers in completing the process.
- Facilitate review calibration meetings with seniors and managers to review employee appraisals and unify performance ratings.
- Oversee implementation of employee performance calibration activities to increase fairness and transparency of performance management practices and identify improvements.
- Manage the development of assessment framework and guidelines in line with the company's quality standards functions to enhance and guide decision making in hiring and talent management activities.
- Ensure periodic assessment of talent performance against 9-box grid framework to identify talent performance and potential.
- Identify recommendations and modifications to employees’ rotation, recovery planning or contract termination based on employee performance results.
- Lead coordination with concerned stakeholders to communicate employee assessment results and suggest action plans.
- Oversee the development of position career maps in coordination with the Company's functions to identify course of progression of employees.
- Ensure consolidation of position career maps into a comprehensive career management model.
- Manage the identification of organizational career opportunities: vertical, horizontal and diagonal to enhance positioning of employees.
- Oversee internal hiring process in coordination with Talent Acquisition to provide internal promotional opportunities to employees.
- Ensure the development of technical/behavioral competency framework to map competencies to organizational positions.
- Oversee the development and implementation of succession plans and coordinate with the company's functions to ensure alignment with strategic and regulatory requirements.
- Manage succession planning activities for identified Key, Critical, Leadership and other positions based on the definitions set by Organizational Development and Rewards.
- Oversee the identification of potential successors for Key, Critical, Leadership and other identified positions based on pre-defined criteria.
- Monitor the design/update of talent management programs such as high potential program to track employees with growth potential.
- Co-develop Performance Recovery plans with concerned stakeholders in line with best practices.
- Manage and track Performance Recovery plans for low performers to ensure all employees meet the productivity and quality standards.
- Lead the development of regular and ad-hoc talent management reports and ensure timely dissemination to internal/external stakeholders.
- Lead the development of the function’s policies, processes and procedures to increase productivity, attain high quality outputs, and cost-effective results in line with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Manage the function’s activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies, procedures and processes, and address escalated non-compliance cases.
- Lead the acquisition and selection of potential new talent, and integrate new joiners and provide sufficient on the job training.
- Lead setting team members’ objectives, clarifying expectations, reviewing performance periodically, providing regular feedback, coaching, and confronting unsatisfactory behavior or performance.
