**Profile Description**:
**Past Experiences**:

- **Knowledge of HSE Regulations**: HSE consultants must have a thorough understanding of local and international HSE regulations and standards relevant to RCU Operations/ Nature of business. This includes knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, environmental regulations, and any other specific requirements.
- **HSE Management Systems**: Consultants should have expertise in developing, implementing, and improving HSE Management Systems at least for two projects in which delivered successfully. This includes knowledge of international standards such as ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System).
- **Risk Assessment and Hazard Analysis**: Strong skills in conducting risk assessments and hazard analyses are crucial. HSE consultants should be able to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and develop strategies to mitigate those risks effectively.
- **Training and Education**: Consultants should have experience in developing and delivering HSE training programs for employees at all levels within an organization. They need to be able to effectively communicate HSE principles and requirements to ensure proper understanding and compliance.
- **Auditing and Compliance**: HSE consultants should be skilled in auditing existing HSE Management Systems and processes to identify areas of non-compliance and areas for improvement. They should have experience in developing audit protocols, conducting audits, and providing recommendations for corrective actions.
- **Communication and Interpersonal Skills**: Effective communication skills are essential for HSE consultants to interact with all stakeholders at all levels. They should be able to present complex information in a clear and concise manner and build relationships based on trust and collaboration.
- **Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills**: HSE consultants need to be critical thinkers who can analyze complex situations, identify root causes of HSE issues, and develop practical solutions. They should have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address a wide range of HSE challenges.
- **Hospitality/Tourism Industry Experience**: Specific experience is highly valuable for HSE consultants. Understanding the unique HSE risks, challenges, and best practices within a particular RCU Operations allows consultants to tailor their services and recommendations accordingly.
- **Continuous Learning**: HSE consultants should demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and staying up to date with the latest developments in HSE regulations, standards, and best practices. This can be achieved through participation in conferences, workshops, professional associations, and ongoing professional development activities.
- **HSE Policies and Procedures Technical Writing**: this includes clarity and conciseness, standardization, compliance and alignment with relevant laws and regulations, continuous improvement and document control.

**Key Responsibilities in the Project**:

- **HSE Management System Development**:design and develop from scratch the entire HSE management system and related documentation RiR
- **As-Is Analysis**: Conduct thorough assessments to identify the existing Health, Safety and Environmental systems, processes, and procedures.
- **Safety Culture Survey**: Design and administer surveys to evaluate the organization’s safety culture, pinpointing areas for improvement.
- **Policy Development**: Create, review, and refine Health & Safety policies to align with industry standards and organizational goals.
- **Procedure Formulation**: Develop precise procedural guidelines, ensuring the seamless execution of safety protocols.
- **Guidelines Creation**: Establish comprehensive guidelines for safe practices, ensuring organizational-wide awareness of safety protocols.
- **Employee Handbook**: Craft an accessible handbook detailing safety measures, emergency procedures, and contact information.
- **Training & Implementation**: Oversee the implementation of the new system, conducting training sessions for employees at all levels.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Implement mechanisms to monitor and continuously enhance the Health & Safety management system.

**Academic Background**:
**Certifications & Other Qualifications**:

- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent designation.
- HSE Certifications such as NEBOSH Level 6, BSC Level 6 or equivalent
- ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification to ensure compliance with global safety standards.

- Additional relevant certifications demonstrating expertise in hazard assessment, risk management, and process optimization.
