**About this opportunity**
Based within the Solution Area Cognitive Network Solutions (SA CNS), Strategic Competence Unit (SCU) is a highly qualified global service delivery team located in several countries. You will be working at the groundbreaking of technology (5G, ML/AI, Cloud-RAN) and will be involved in projects with many diverse customers around the world. In this role, you will be a specialist and a go-to person in the field of Network Design and Optimization (NDO).

**What you will do**
- Act as a senior technical expert (being Subject Matter Expert -SME- in specific domain/area)
- Deliver services in the area of CNS-NDO RAN
- Point and guide discussions with Customers (Technical Staff and Senior Management), understand customer requirements.
- Propose technical solutions, develop and present technical presentations and proposals.
- Manage customer expectations, implementation of customer solutions within agreed time, scope and cost
- Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation and information sharing.
- Provide ideas and suggestions to Product Management to further improve/add/modify existing offerings within the CNS-NDO portfolio.
- Support presales in the area of CNS-NDO, as per business demand

**You will bring**
- In general, the requirements could sum up to have:

- Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering or IT
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in ICT Industry with experience in service delivery
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas: 5G RAN, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (ML & AI) applied to NDO services, Cloud-RAN
- End to End knowledge of services, covering devices, RAN, Transport and Packet Core domains.
- Deep technical knowledge in RAN (the needed skills to be capable of finding solutions to tackle issues) & deep data analytics knowledge (statistical tools, methods/processes to analyze and correlate data)
- Ability to understand customers business objectives and be able to link them to improvements in Network Performance and End User Experience
- Ability to communicate, present and influence the C-Level (CTO, CEO ) by knowing the impact of any action/service on their business.

- Knowledge of Ericsson equipment, radio network features, algorithms, and parameters would be an advantage.
- Location & Travelling: The position is based in Saudi Arabia. Ability to travel globally as per business priorities and requirements.
