In this role, you will be responsible to provide registration expertise and regulatory support to facilitate regulatory and compliance to enable business growth and market Ecolab products in Saudi Arabia. The business in Saudi Arabia is an important part of the Ecolab India, Middle East and North Africa business. Saudi Arabia is main growth country for our market. In this role you will interpret local regulations ex. SFDA, Saber, SASO and Implement registration programs to secure market authorizations to Saudi and Bahrain sales. You will coordinate registration processes between Ecolab facilities and Ecolab distributors. Support in understanding import and export regulations and connect with customs to ensure compliance.

**The position is open to Saudi Nationals only **and will report to the IMEA Regulatory Affairs Director and Saudi Arabia Country Manager.

**What You Will Do**:

- Implements registration programs like medical devices, Hand sanitizers, disinfection and others to secure market authorizations for sales of Ecolab products and facilitate registration related activities in Saudi Arabia
- Monitors and shares regulation changes to ensure continued compliance
- Builds relationships with government agencies and Ecolab divisions
- Acts as the Saudi Arabia Regulatory Expert in related to SFDA regulations, customs laws and other local authorities for Nalco Water and Ecolab businesses
- Supports trade compliance for Saudi as part India Middle East and North Africa countries and participates in market and divisional projects
- Pro-actively maintains current knowledge of regulatory and local permits requirements imposed by government agencies in Saudi Arabia
- Assesses and promotes compliance with existing laws and regulations pertaining to the position
- Builds relationship with local authorities and customs to monitor custom tariff developments and introduces appropriate changes within Saudi Arabia.
- Responsible to engage Saudi Arabia customs authorities to resolve import and export issues
- Supports the Country Manager in developing strategies to comply with regulatory and trade compliance requirements
- Performs other duties as assigned

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- ** The position is open to Saudi Nationals only**
- Bachelor in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related technical/Science field
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs areas in Saudi
- Experience with governmental regulatory programs such SFDA, MOH, SASO, Saber and other international regulations
- Demonstrated grasp of business and regulatory processes
- Fluent in English and Arabic
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize work
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Ability to travel within the country, region.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in a position directly related to import or export, trade compliance and HS codes assignments is a plus.
- Familiar with Hazard communication (MSDS, labels, GHS), disinfectant, biocides and medical devices
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards governing import, distribution and sales in Saudi Arabia
