Within the Power & Grid team, Turner Lovell are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead operational and maintenance programs related to their asset lifecycle.
In this role, you will support the end client in developing and managing the overall maintenance strategy for their large power plants (including gas turbines) across Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include both technical and managerial aspects related to maintenance activities of power generation assets in Saudi.
Technical works:
- Review and develop standards.
- Review and develop policies, procedures & instructions.
- Review, update and modify design & drawings as needed by the client.
- Review predictive maintenance program and project manage.
- Testing and commissioning
- Standardizing laboratories - strong RCA focus
- Process and cost optimization
- Contractor qualification and third-party negotiation related to maintenance contracts.
- Grid code discussion
- Participate in committees including grid connection committees with other countries
Management works:
- Business strategy development
- Support decisions to manage asset life cycle
- Managing large or a group of power plants
- Human resources planning including staff training/reskilling development planning.
- To implement the new organization structure
- Presentations for higher management and BOARD of Directors
Ideal Profile
- Formal education, degree or diploma in engineering or related topic.
- Strong expertise in maintenance management and onsite supervision and coaching at client side.
- 5-10 years of experience in power plant O&M
- Demonstrable experience working in maintenance management in the US or Europe.
- Proven experience working on gas turbine maintenance - from maintenance strategy development to project managing maintenance program.
- Willingness to work as an expat advisor to coach and teach managers and teams
- Willingness to work in Riyadh and relocate to Saudi Arabia.
