We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Contract Manager to be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role you will ensure all the requirements of contractual documents are implemented and maintained, identify contractual problems and take appropriate action to ensure a satisfactory resolution and review of notices of claims as well as provide general contractual advice.
- What will you do?_
- Understand fully the terms of KONE contract with the customer and also the terms of the subcontract with any of KONE subcontractors for the respective project.
- Ensure KONE enforcement of its contractual rights and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Support the project team in reviewing incoming and outgoing correspondence and advising on matters that have contractual and/or financial implications.
- Support the project team in issuing all relevant contractual notices timely and in accordance with the provisions of the contract throughout the project to secure KONE position.
- Support the project team with the variation process to ensure KONE position is secured financially and contractually.
- Assist in the selection and appointment of subcontractors to ensure appropriate terms and conditions of appointment and in the management of their performance, including negotiation of any loss and/or expense claims while work is in progress.
- Work with the project management team and finance throughout the lifetime of the project to ensure compliance with the contract and ensuring that payment and other claims are submitted in the correct format and with the correct timing to secure monies due to KONE as per the contract.
- Safeguarding KONE financial interests both with the customer and all subcontractors/suppliers.
- Ensure invoice disputes are resolved with the maximum benefit to the project.

- Are you the one?_
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Economics, Engineering or related field.
- 4-7 years of experience in contracts management with thorough understand ing of contractual issues, legal risks and liabilities.
- Experience in the construction or related industries is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Saudi laws and regulations.
- Excellent Arabic and English language skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to take initiatives.
