Ornua is a dairy co-operative which sells dairy products on behalf of its Member Co-ops, Ireland’s dairy processors and, in turn, Irish dairy farmers. Ornua Ingredients is responsible for the procurement of Irish and non-Irish dairy products and for the sale of dairy ingredients to food manufacturing and foodservice customers across the world. Ornua Ingredients is also responsible for managing volatility through de-risking and trading strategies. The business is supported by production facilities in Saudi Arabia, Spain, the UK, the US and by in-market teams in Africa and the Middle East.

**Key Requirements and Competencies**:
Bachelor’s degree in food, Dairy, or related scientific field with 5+ years of industrial experience or advanced degree (MS/PhD) in closely related scientific field
Must have valid driver’s license with flexibility to travel and visit customers up to 25% of the time.
Dairy industry background, preferably cheese or processed cheese industry.
Multi-project experience in product development
Regional and International experience would be advantageous.

**Requirements**:
Experience working in Food industry - B2B product development, formulation, and commercialization of cheese/dairy/food products.
Familiarity with SFDA (Saudi Food & Drug Authority regulations) cheese standards, and dairy products guidelines, definitions, nutritional and labelling claims.
Experience or familiarity working with starch systems, protein matrices and/or plant-based cheese.
Working knowledge of sensory science and texture analysis techniques
