PROJECT OVERVIEW

Air Products, Saudi Aramco and ACWA Power have formed a Gasification/Power joint venture (Jazan Integrated Gasification & Power Company (JIGPC)) located at Jazan Economic City (JEC) in Saudi Arabia acquiring certain assets from Saudi Aramco on 27 October 2021
- JIGPC will commission and operate the acquired assets, power block and the associated utilities from Saudi Aramco.
- JIGPC owns and will operate the facility under a 25-year contract for a fixed monthly fee. Saudi Aramco will supply feedstock to JIGPC and in-turn JIGPC will produce power, hydrogen and other utilities for Saudi Aramco. Air Products is the majority owner of JIGPC, with Saudi Aramco and ACWA Power owning the balance. The JV builds upon the importance and recognition that critical infrastructure assets in the region are being developed and operated under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model."
- The Jazan IGCC is the world’s largest IGCC producing up to 2100 MMSCFD syngas, 18,000 MT/Day Oxygen and 3.8 Gigawatts of power. Facilities and assets include liquids gasification, acid gas clean up, soot ash recovery, sulphur recovery, combined cycle power plants, materials handling systems, hydrogen recovery, water utilities systems and wastewater treatment facilities.Reporting to the EHS&S Director, the primary goal of the EHS&S Administrator is to support the EHS&S department, creating monthly reports, updating and tracking the EHS observation and near-miss, updating and tracking the work-hours and manpower, tracking action items, assisting with coordinating meetings, supporting PPE requests, and developing presentations. Additionally, the selected individual is also expected to contribute and be a member of the JIGPC EHS&S team.
- The incumbent will be responsible for promoting a culture of safe working habits, improving safety performance, the support of establishing procedures, and safety directives for the organization in alignment with JIGPC’s values along with corporate goals and objectives. In addition, the incumbent will assist with planning, establishing, implementing and maintaining a wide variety of activities encompassing all aspects of EHS&S, to assure the highest possible degree of safety for our employees and contractors
- The role interfaces and engages with key internal and external stakeholders and customers - engineering, operations, maintenance, contractors, and functional leadership teams. Success in this position is dependent on strong interpersonal and influencing skills and sound judgement.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

This opportunity is for a key member of the JIGPC EHSSQ Team to provide support to overall operations, maintenance, construction, commissioning, and start-up team. Specific duties and responsibilities include the following:

- Awareness of Occupational Health, Safety, Environment and Security Management system principles
- Develop and maintain a data base to track all incident and action item data
- Undertake trending on a monthly / quarterly and annual basis and share information with EHS&S Director.
- Track safe work-hours and manpower for all contractors and JIGPC personnel.
- Support the development and implementation of safety campaigns.
- Experience in creating a purchase requests and tracking.
- Experience in document writing and document control.
- Arrange and coordinate weekly environmental health safety and security meeting. Prepare the presentation and taking down the Minutes of Meeting.
- Responsible for data management including reports generation for management presentation
- Maintaining and updating the JIGPC EHS Management System.
- Monitors department cars needs and activities
- Perform as the department ambassador for new joiners and department visitors to the site.
- Manage the Director’s calendar, schedule meetings, and take meeting minutes when required.
- Support and manage the training data base of the organization to support employees training activities.
- Manage and Support PPE distribution and maintaining the record.
- Create programs and processes for the department and/or organization.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent is a plus
- Safety certificates in OSHA and IOSH for short safety or environmental courses is a plus
- College degree graduate
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experienced in SharePoint
- Organised, disciplined, able to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities and parallel tasks
- Middle East project experience
- Experience of working on camp-based sites in remote Middle East locations
- Experience of working in multicultural project teams
- 5 years’ experience on industrial projects or operational facilities
- Ability to work in a multifaceted / multinational organizational matrix with a variety of working relationships
