**Responsibilities**:
**Technical Oversight**:

- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Documentation Review:

- Review and analyze technical documents, drawings, and specifications related to HVAC systems.
- Ensure that all O&M contractors' submissions meet the project's quality and safety requirements.

**Problem Resolution**:

- Act as a technical escalation point for HVAC-related issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Collaborate with O&M contractors to address and resolve any mechanical or operational challenges.

**Quality Assurance**:

- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes for HVAC systems across the project.
- Monitor and assess the performance of O&M contractors, identifying areas for improvement.

**Communication**:

- Foster effective communication channels with O&M contractors, project managers, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver technical reports and presentations on HVAC system performance.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization or extensive experience in HVAC systems.
- Proven experience as an HVAC Systems Subject Matter Expert in a project management or consulting environment.
- Familiarity with transportation projects or similar large-scale building systems is highly desirable.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic project management environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to ensuring high-quality work.
- Relevant certifications in HVAC systems or project management would be advantageous.
