**GENERAL PURPOSE**:
**A leading Maritime Company is seeking a Document Controller. As document controller the person assigned will monitor and control the company IMS documentation to ensure that all are updated with no missing records nor obsolete documents in place. Accountable for effective implementation of relevant document control procedures.**
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Establish Document Control documents library.
- Maintain all procedures and records, work instructions & policies for the company management systems.
- Control all retrieval documents & procedures of the management systems.
- Edit and review all procedures, forms, records & working instructions for all sectors, departments and offshore.
- Receive and process requests for Information, from employees or clients & maintain the requests via tracking logs.
- Help project managers develop and maintain documents such as meeting minutes, drawings, specifications, approvals & related items.
- Train employees in records management procedures and policies, which include documentation, retention, retrieval, recovery, periodically.
- Assist with audits, and administrative tasks as needed.
- Handle all kind of correspondences concerning QHSSE sector.
**QHSSE RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Issue document numbers for each QHSE IMS document.
- Distribute documents according to the Document Distribution List.
- Maintain and update a Master List of Documents
- Archive obsolete documents.
- Maintain all the records of documented evidence.
- Ensure that documents are periodically reviewed as per the defined frequency.
- Archive/Control of all external documents received by the QHSSE.
- Maintain and controlling hard copies of documents where applicable.

- Internal audits results.
- External audits results.
- Document receipts.
- Follow up sheets.
**Requirements**:
**EDUCATION**:
Recognized Education Qualification.
**EXPERIENCE**:
- Minimum 2 years in the same position or similar.
- Have a proper training in documentation and filling.
**SKILLS**:
- Administration skills.
- Be thorough and pay attention to detail.
- Able to work well with others.
- Able to use your initiative.
- Knowledge of the English language.
- Able to accept criticism and work well under pressure.
- Flexible and open to change.
- Able to carry out basic tasks on a computer.
