**Role Summary**:
Lead activities designed to enable development and execution of sourcing strategies across multiple categories through strategic supplier development and selection process to ensure optimized time to market, best value delivery while meeting business requirements in terms of financial targets, quality, delivery, regulatory, contracting and compliance requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the overall planning, leadership and execution of all strategic Procurement activities and ensure appropriate alignment between suppliers, procurement associates and technical cross-functional teams.
- Align overall sourcing strategy for new/commercial items and ensure clear communication with all stakeholders to achieve the overall objective.
- Support R&D department for new launches and operational requirement.
- Support other business Procurement needs as assigned.
- Responsible for managing supplier evaluation for development and qualification activities.
- Execute and manage continuous improvement in areas of Procurement.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Able to work with multiple vendors to determine the best deals for the company.
- Evaluate the many pros and cons of each, based on price, quality, speed of delivery and other factors.
- Strong Decision-Making Skills: Able to use the information gathered to make decisions on behalf of your company.
- Strong Negotiating Skills: Able to work with suppliers to create the best deals.
- Monitor day-to-day activities of procurement to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures.
- Manages Service & Quality from suppliers, while seeking the best Value to the company.
- Manages new project with coordination with the technical team.
- Create and maintain an environment towards commitment, motivation, and enthusiasm to synchronize team’s energy in a tight-knit and competent group of people to attain higher level of team performance.
- Ensure a culture of family orientated work environment founded on trust, honesty, transparency, with open communication and fair dealing with the maintenance of Jamjoom Pharmaceuticals high standard of work and work ethic.
- Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign, and delegate responsibility, and monitor the workflow of Procurement department.
- Plan, manage and review individual performance of Procurement staff and provide regular feedback and coaching, with the aim to capitalize on individual strength and take prompt action in the areas of improvements.
- Create a culture of process improvement where team members to suggest, participate in and contribute to improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing initiatives.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Industrial Engineering, any relevant major.
- 7 - 8 years of experience in the same role and industry.
- Analytical skill with focus on total cost of acquisition.
- Customer focus.
- Supplier relationship management.
- Knowledge of local and international regulations of imports.
- Good in English & Fluent in Arabic.
