Dammam Plant Manager (New Health Care Company)

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career.

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

Accountable for safety, quality, service, cost, supply chain management, value stream improvement plan and overall continuous improvement activities & results. Support and contribute to Extended Value Stream (EVS) improvement initiatives which have impacts beyond Dammam Plant. Directly coach, supervise, train, and develop site leadership team. Back-up/support direct reports as necessary

As a Dammam Plant Manager you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

- Overseeing plant environment, health, safety, and security practices that respect our environment, meet requirements established by regulatory bodies, protect our employees.
- Incorporate Lean Six Sigma Principles and project management techniques.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional projects which support site development
- Manages capital expenditure discussions within responsible areas to maintain long term sustainability and to implement productivity and technology improvements
- Represent the plant as appropriate on Country Business Conduct and Governance Committee & M&SC meetings
- Lead plant leadership meetings, coach various teams and prioritize/allocate resources
- Ensure site processes are following 3M expectations; adhere to appropriate safety, regulatory, quality, financial audit standards and requirements
- Championing inclusive programs that create a great place to work for all our employees

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

- A Bachelor level university degree (Master’s degree and Engineering degree is preferred)
- At least 10 years of relevant working experience
- Previous experience in plant management roles

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

- Ability to communicate effectively across the organization
- Ability to collaborate effectively with all relevant functions
- Demonstrated strong leadership ability and history of leading high-performance teams
- Experience in operational excellence, lean implementation, and financial accounting
- Customer centric and agile
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Attention to detail.

Work location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia

Travel: May include up to around 10-15% of working time
