**Responsibilities**
- Assist in developing the manufacturing & Production plans that are aligned with mission, controlling these plans to be effectively implemented against budget parameters and defined time schedule.
- Implement the manufacturing strategies and action plans to ensure that the Manufacturing supports strategic initiatives.
- Implement all required techniques/ practices that increase production volumes with lowering cost, reducing defects, increasing efficiencies, and reducing production wastage.
- Provide direction and leadership to Production staff, align resources, set and prioritize targets, and implement cost-effective initiatives to ensure achievement of Manufacturing Dept. objectives.
- Managing manufacturing & production KPIs that ensures the delivery of performance targets
- Planning the department's budgets (Manpower, Chemicals & Technical requirements), monitor, and allocate the approved budget to ensure expenses are controlled.
- Initiate plans and processes to minimize manufacturing cost through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital.
- Support to Plan, organize and direct technical and maintenance operations which ensures the most effective return on assets & to deliver the best adherence of maintenance plan execution.
- Provide leadership to daily manufacturing operations, while maintain focus on overall manufacturing’s goals.
- Coordinate assist and advice both R&D and marketing on new products and their production feasibility.
- Liaise with Supply Chain to ensure meeting production forecast with resources and production constraints.
- Research, analyze and implement improvements and ensure well management of processing & Production activities to effectively reduce production costs and time.
- Manage the shutdown plans for all related maintenance activities as per the maintenance scheduled plans to ensure the PM plans completion and machines best reliability.
- Ensure operations are conducted according to quality & safety standards to consistently maintain acceptable finished goods quality levels, reduce number of defects and incidents to meet profitability objectives.
- Monitor safety procedures with ensuring that safety systems & safe work practices are constantly in place.
- Ensure all manufacturing practices are complied with health and hygiene standards.
- Perform regular inspections and follow up to take appropriate corrective and preventive actions when sub standards are encountered.
- Develop the necessary Manufacturing Organization structure and ensure the right calibers of staffing and appropriate training to meet all job requirements.

**Other Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or business management.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
- Proven experience in implementation and execution of well manufacturing system and performance measurement programs.
- Experienced with business strategy & change processes.

- Knowledge in Microsoft Office Programs / ERP System
