Human Resources Assistant

Job Summary:
The HR Assistant provides administrative support to the human resources department by performing a variety of tasks related to recruitment, employee onboarding, data management, payroll support, and employee relations. This position ensures that the HR department operates efficiently and in compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update employee records in HRIS (Human Resource Information System).
Process new hire documentation.
Coordinate employee training programs and maintain training records.
Assist with payroll processing by gathering and verifying timesheets, attendance records, and overtime.
Help manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management.
Prepare HR-related reports and documentation for internal or external purposes.
Ensure HR policies and procedures are followed in accordance with legal and company standards.
Support employee engagement initiatives and assist in organizing company events or activities.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in accordance with company policies.
Oversee and track employee vacation, sick leave, and other types of leave.
Assist in the coordination and administration of performance evaluation processes, including scheduling performance reviews, sending reminders to managers and employees, and ensuring evaluations are completed on time. Help compile feedback from managers and peers, track employee performance data, and maintain records of performance reviews in the HR system. Provide support in preparing reports on overall performance trends and assist with identifying areas for employee development or improvement.
