Overview & Responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Saudi National to work as Public Relations and Government Relations Officer for our team in Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our compliance with local regulations, maintaining a positive relationship with Saudi authorities, and facilitating various administrative processes. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, including but not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
Translation and Document Support:
- Assist in translating documents to/from Arabic when necessary to facilitate communication and compliance.
Permit Issuance and Visa Applications:
- Manage the issuance of various permits, including work permits, site access permits, and gate passes.
Documentation Management:
- Ensure timely submission of accurate documentation related to immigration processes and work permits to the appropriate authorities, including the Ministry of Labor and Immigration Departments.
Document Attestation:
- Coordinate the attestation of documents with the Chamber of Commerce (COC) or SAGIA as required.
Government Relations:
- Establish and maintain effective communication with Saudi authorities to build positive relationships and ensure compliance.
License Management:
- Submit all documentation accurately and in a timely manner to obtain necessary licenses and collect licenses when completed.
Visa and Permit Compliance:
- Monitor and manage the expiration dates of visas, permits, licenses, and medical certifications.
- Ensure timely renewals are arranged to maintain compliance.
Policy and Procedure Enforcement:
- Create and enforce local and corporate policies and procedures to ensure adherence to relevant regulations.
Compliance Adherence:
- Assist in ensuring the organization's compliance with all relevant government regulations (e.g. NITAQAT) and requirements.
Health and Safety Support:
- Provide support for local health and safety initiatives to ensure the well-being of employees.
Collaboration with Finance:
- Collaborate closely with the Finance department on payroll-related issues and projects.
Security Advisory Support:
- Provide security advice through liaison with our partner, International SOS, to enhance the safety of our operations.
Ad Hoc Support:
- Offer administrative support and assistance on various projects as required by the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Strong proficiency in Arabic and English languages for effective communication and document translation.
- Knowledge of Saudi Arabian immigration, labor, and business regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with government authorities.
- Familiarity with health and safety practices in the workplace.
- Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
- Prior experience in a similar role is a plus.
Base Location:
Dammam, Saudi Arabia
Work Schedule:
Full Time, 5 days per week from Office.
