What You Will Do:
The Junior Cloud Engineer will report to a Cloud Engineering Lead, responsible for RLDatix Cloud Engineering functions.

The role, of Junior Cloud Engineer, is a hands-on entry-level technical role that is suited for people who are motivated by cloud and automation technology.

Individuals within the Junior Cloud Engineer role work to assist Senior Cloud Engineers with day-to-day tasks to build, test, deploy and monitor our software.

Junior Cloud Engineers will have opportunities to work very closely with Cloud Engineering and Senior Cloud engineers to learn and gain valuable experience in Cloud Engineering.

A crucial part of the role is coordination with different teams within R&D and organisation through all phases of a software development life cycle.

Additionally, this person will be responsible for:

- Assistance with Cloud Engineering culture adoption
- Keeping a “customer first” mindset to satisfy the needs of their internal clients.
- focus on configuration, documentation, optimization, and support of the infrastructure components.

As a Junior Cloud engineer, you will be researching and learning constantly. Demonstrate that you are eager to learn by volunteering for projects and tasks. Collaboration and communication, effectively with your co-workers and stakeholders throughout the business.

Experience/Knowledge You Will Need:

- Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience in a Cloud Engineering or related role.
- Understanding and basic knowledge of developing and evolving continuous integration, delivery, and deployment processes. (e.g.: Jenkins, etc.).
- Understanding and basic knowledge of Amazon Web Services (e.g.: EC2, S3, VPC, Security Groups, etc.).
- Understanding and basic knowledge of Containers (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
- Understanding and basic knowledge of Infrastructure As Code (e.g.: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Packer)
- Good knowledge of infrastructure setup and administration (e.g.: Working with VMs, configuring the operating system, Windows, Amazon Linux, etc.).
- Good knowledge of version control system (e.g.: GitHub, Git).
- Basic experience with scripting (e.g.: PowerShell 7, batch files).
- Webservers including IIS, Nginx.
- Motivated, self-organized, thorough, quality oriented and proactive.
- Good communication skills, able to coordinate and work with multiple teams at the same time.
- Strong spoken and written English skills

Desirable Skills/Experience:

- More than 2 years of experience in a Cloud Engineering or related role.
- Hands-on knowledge of the Cloud Engineering culture and principles.
- Basic knowledge of setting up DB servers (e.g.: MS SQL Server, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL, etc.). - во essentials vo drugite

- Up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity threats, current best practices, and the latest software/tools used for security across the entire SDLC.
