Responsibilities:
1- Quality Control:
Develop and enforce quality control procedures to ensure compliance with ASME codes and standards, specifically ASME Section 9.

Conduct inspections and tests to verify the quality of welding work on boiler tubes and the fabrication of pressure vessels.

Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to address any quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.

Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformities and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.

2- Quality Management Systems:
Establish and maintain a robust quality management system in accordance with ASME requirements.

Develop and implement quality policies and procedures to guide the organization's activities.

Ensure documentation, record-keeping, and traceability requirements are met for all manufacturing processes.

Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with quality management system standards.

Coordinate external audits and inspections by regulatory bodies or clients and facilitate necessary corrective actions.

1- Supplier Quality Management:
Evaluate and select suppliers based on their ability to meet quality requirements.

Collaborate with the procurement team to establish quality standards for purchased materials and components.

Conduct supplier audits to assess their quality control processes and identify areas for improvement.

Work closely with suppliers to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed.

4- Continuous Improvement:
Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging employee involvement in quality initiatives.

Implement Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies to streamline processes and reduce waste.

Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency gains, and cost savings.

Facilitate training programs to enhance the quality awareness and skills of employees.

5- Regulatory Compliance:
Stay updated on relevant industry regulations, codes, and standards to ensure compliance.

Ensure that all maintenance services, welding activities, and pressure vessel fabrications adhere to safety and quality regulations.

Collaborate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with inspections, certifications, and permits.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Quality Manager in a service company, preferably in power generation or petrochemical industries.

In-depth knowledge of ASME codes and standards, specifically ASME Section 9, and the ASME S, R, and U Stamps.

Strong understanding of welding processes, fabrication of pressure vessels, and related quality control procedures.

Experience in implementing and managing quality management systems.

Proficiency in conducting inspections, audits, and root cause analysis.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and clients.

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.

Professional certifications such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) are preferred.
