- Qualifications and Knowledge
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study
- Current certification/licensure
- An advanced degree in a related field of study
- Knowledge of effective classroom teaching practice
- Knowledge of Understanding by Design (UbD) principles
- Experience and Skills

**Experience**
- Teaching an elementary homeroom in an international context
- Leading and inspiring elementary school students to be informed and inspired community members and leaders
- Organizing student projects and performance tasks
- Documenting curriculum according to _Understanding by Design (UbD)_ principles
- Implementing Reading and Writing Project.
- Teaching mathematics conceptually with an emphasis on multiple representations
- Collaborating in a professional setting with large and small groups of colleagues
- Leading groups of students and faculty
