**1. SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS**

**1.1. The “Quality Assurance Manager” will be working in Alshehili Company’s Quality Assurance Department in order to achieve the departments’ goals of offering transparency, traceability and management of the company’s documented information and the Business Management System. The Quality Assurance Manager is the “Quality Management Representative” of the ISO 9001, AS 9100, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001 and any other compliance certification the company may require in the future.**

**2. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

**2.1. Participate in the interview and selection process (including hiring recommendations), and makes staffing assignments in accordance with schedule requirements.**
**2.2. Provides Quality Systems leadership using the AS 9100 & ISO 9001 Standard as the basis for process.**
**2.3. Development and optimization, procedure development, data collection and reporting, and Quality Systems training.**
**2.4. Directs and coordinates efforts to initiate (and maintain) QMS certifications.**
**2.5. Implements Corrective Action and Non-conformance tracking.**
**2.6. Program development including defining requirements and future administration and support of a unified, system to include tracking of NCR’s, CAR’s, Audit Findings, etc.**
**2.7. Collaborates with the other Process Owners in facilitating Quality Leadership programs, achieving present Quality objectives, setting future Quality objectives and providing input and coordinating output from the Quality Management Reviews.**
**2.8. Provides leadership, guidance and training to Quality personnel; monitors performance, and identifies skills, training, and capabilities needed for Quality activities.**
**2.9. Develops and provides consistent quality training programs to key personnel including direct reports.**
**2.10. Provides Quality support in policies and procedures development.**
**2.11. Ensures that the company and customers’ quality requirements are met for products and services provided, by verifying compliance with quality standards and quality program requirements.**
**2.12. Acts as a liaison with customers, contractors and/or internal departments on quality related matters.**
**2.13. Hires and trains quality assurance staff.**
**2.14. Oversees the daily workflow and schedules of the department.**
**2.15. Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.**
**2.16. Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.**
**2.17. Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for processes.**
**2.18. Communicates quality standards and parameters to company staff.**
**2.19. Identifies and analyzes issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues.**
**2.20. Reviews client, customer, and user feedback.**
**2.21. Maintains compliance with national, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.**
**2.22. Establish standards for Quality which are to be applied to all departments of the company.**
**2.23. Review and approve of Contractors and Suppliers of quality documentation.**
**2.24. Liaise with Employer on the adoption of Employer’s standards and documentation.**
**2.25. Develop and monitor quality reporting systems which can be demonstrated to have a direct influence on quality achieved on the company products.**
**2.26. Ensure Management Review Reports are complete and accurate with no hindrance.**

**2. AUTHORITIES**

**3.1. Has access to add, inspect and edit all Company records**
**3.2. Has access to add, inspect and edit all Company Procedures.**
**3.3. Has access to all Departments and all Warehouses.**
**3.4. Working with confidential information without disclosing to company staff or others, including but not limited to; financial data, technical data, company procedures.**

**3. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS**

**4.1. Perform Quality Assurance Department tasks assigned and report progress to Direct Manager; Chief Executive Officer.**
**4.2. Develop & Maintain company workflows.**
**4.3. Coordinate with Human Resources Manager, Sales & Marketing Manager, Chief Engineer, Supply-Chain Manager, Information Technology Manager, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Legal Officer when relevant.**
**4.4. The replacement person of the Quality Assurance Manager is the Quality Assurance Specialist.**

**4. ACCOUNTABILITY**

**5. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS**

**6.1. Must have a valid “Engineer” Classification Membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers. (SCE “Engineering Technologist” Classification Membership is not acceptable)**
