We are currently seeking an experienced Government Relations professional to join our Corporate Registration team in the capacity Government Relations Officer.
**Overview of the role**
We are looking for an organized and dedicated individual to fill the role of Government Relations Officer. The responsibilities within government entities include coordinating, following up, and controlling operations, transactions, and documents. Must be familiar with government procedures and laws related to the entities in order to efficiently and effectively execute the tasks.
**What you will do**
**Operation Coordination**
- Receive, review, and process transactions, requests, and documents received within government entities. Ensure accuracy and completeness according to specified procedures.
**Transaction Follow-up**
- Communicate with relevant parties within and outside government entities to track transaction progress and ensure compliance with requirements and deadlines.
**Document Arrangement**
- Organize and maintain records and documents of government entities in a systematic and efficient manner. Ensure availability of required documents for review, retrieval, and review purposes.
**Deadline Monitoring**
- Identify final deadlines and specified dates for transactions and ensure compliance. Coordinate with internal teams and legal advisors to ensure timely completion of transactions.
**Communication and Coordination**
- Collaborate with departments and other relevant entities to exchange information and coordinate regarding transactions and documents. Respond to inquiries and provide necessary updates to stakeholders
**Required skills to be successful**
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
**What equips you for the role**
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus).
- Proven experience as an Government Relations Officer or in a similar role within government entities
- Familiarity with government procedures and regulations related to the specific entities.
