Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Snr Project Manager Sustainability & Environmental **to join our team In this role, you will join a professional Project Management team that is involved in multiple projects on a program being developed by Diriyah Gate Development Authority. Anchored to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of At Turaif, it is intended to become a world-class cultural heritage destination for the people of the kingdom and for visitors looking to discover the essence of Saudi Arabia. Phase 1 consists of a 7.5km master plan separated into 5 districts, each with a blend of asset classes all of which are being designed in the Najdi architectural style and are well underway so you will be joining the program at an exciting and challenging time.

As the **Snr Project Manager - Sustainability & Environmental **you will provide technical support, management and leadership to the Parsons project management team with a focus on sustainability efforts and best practices for both large projects, major programs, and initiatives.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Participate in and promote Parsons Sustainability Core Value.
- Support complex project teams which require sustainability evaluation and environmental compliance, from conception to project completion.
- Work closely with project owners, developers, design teams and project managers to achieve sustainability objectives in the design and planning process.
- Assist in starting up major programs and development of sustainability strategies and programs in conjunction with the clients specialist consultants.
- Guide project teams during planning, design development, tendering and construction supervision to enable achievement of projects sustainability and environmental goals.
- Support the implementation of different sustainability rating systems such as LEED and Mustadam.
- Develop technical and progress reports and studies for sustainability certification and environmental documentation as part of project deliverables.
- Assist in the recruitment, interviews, and evaluation of prospective employees within the sustainability discipline.
- Prepare RFPs to appoint the most suitable sub-consultants for any given project.
- Assess and manage the appointed sub-consultants and review their S&E studies.
- Monitor the quality and progress of the sustainability focused work for projects on the masterplan.
- Present to the client on technical aspects, with support form the clients specialist consultants and assists in relevant project approvals.
- Monitor and stay engaged with all changing concepts involving sustainability and how it affects the AEC industry as a whole.

**What Required Skills and Experience You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in environmental sciences, engineering, planning, or related design disciplines.
- Work experience of minimum 15 years in an international engineering consultancy and project management or sustainability consultancy.
- Previous experience with a PMC on a large program.
- Built close working relationships with the clients sustainability team.
- In depth knowledge of the latest trends in the sustainability field
- Detail oriented, well-organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a team, on multiple large-scale projects in parallel.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in the English.
- Membership of an internationally recognised sustainability organisation/body.

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring**:

- Master’s degree or above in environmental sciences, engineering, planning, or related design disciplines.
- Experience in coordinating with diverse individuals and teams including client, consultant, contractor, design, and construction members to enable achievement of project sustainability objectives and targets.
- Bring a clear understanding of global good sustainability consultancy practices and delivery of projects that include bespoke sustainability advice.
